I Thought i would enter this poem, even though it may not be exactly what you are looking for i hope you enjoy it all the same. I had a revelation of the power of God recently and thats how i wrote the poem he is all things.

thanks for the comment, i have a thought that God is more than just what we are told to belleive, and there is a lot of influence to think of him in one way and not the other, but he is to each of us what our experience of him is for us, and for me i have experienced him as many things. this gives me courage to not be amazed by a lot of things but to understand that he is all things and so there is no reason to be afraid. thanks agin for the comment

is it a very self telling of your insight to understaning to who your GOD is .... many of us only see with with blinkers and others just find the power of Him to see a wider view of who He is.......................well done here

Hey thanks for the comment, its an unusual poem in that it is totally, unlike the usual poems. I was not really concentrating much on the pace or rhythm, maybe I will improve it that way. The main motivation is that we always seem to think of God as only being a certain way, as in good only, all the time but what I am trying to say is that he is all things. He is also revengeful, warlike etc and some of this is reflected in the bible, and things he says or does at any point in time. So in my list I was very much daring in this regard. I believe there are many aspects to God. I also wanted to provoke more thought on who God is, what he is – how you see a storm and you can sort of equate that to this anger and fierceness – he is both weak and strong, as in, on any sides he is with the loser and he is also with the winner, he comforts the other and celebrates with the one. He knows pain because he has experienced it as well, the hideousness of some of his creation are also a reflection of how he is both dazzling and ugliness in one - as in he created ugliness with a purpose in mind and a context – therein lies the beauty and essentially it is not ugliness at all. Well the basis being that God is in everything and is therefore everything. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me though but just to think more on it.

The "He is" at first reads very powerfully and boldly. But after awhile it drags until it changes pace.
I'm not sure I agree with all you say hi is. The end of the piece is the best.
You are right, this conveys more about God's power than it does his love and grace.
