My Computer Crashed(Acrostic)





Many a days I do sit and just wait

Ye ole computer, does hesitate

Collecting the information to and fro
Over the net, but it forgot it though
Memory now, does seem to be fading
Poor old hard drive begins degrading
Useless, this machine will come to be
The items saved, I no longer can see
Erased each file, every one of them
Recycle bin, emptied in all the mayhem


Computer does still continue to freeze
Remembering only the pop-up sleaze
Assigning to memory only those sites
Securely blocked by parental rights
How will I ever retrieve the archive
Everything crashed, no hope to revive
Database unresponsive, it didn’t survive

    The humorsense may
    Have played the joke
    Sending the computer
    Burning up in smoke

    All the software
    That I had bought
    Didn’t help not a bit
    I was even more distraught

    I’ve tried to copy to
    DVD’s and floppies too
    When inserted they are
    Spit back out anew

    Just a blank disk
    No data recorded
    In the trash that’s
    How it will be rewarded

    I got a new computer
    That’s in its prime
    But it will also breakdown
    in it’s own due time

    As long as I live
    To take another breath
    I hope I never see again
    The blue screen of death

    Hilarious

    It's Apparant That Computer...
    ... Has An Evil Sense Of Humor.

    It may have been the humorsense installed
    Perhaps that computer's not exactly firewalled
    Maybe not all of the data is forever lost
    There software you can use without much of a cost

    That can locate and may fix almost any file
    I thought I had backup, but wasn't all the while
    Not knowing if it were saving without a trial
    So when I got mine retrieved, along came my smile

    Since the format had to decompile as to be read
    Some were completely gone, but still on the internet
    This time I've store my stuff on DVDs and floppies
    Just to make sure I can always see the copies

    How I hated being fated the blue screen of death
    Especially in the middle of what's very important
    Although there's autosave, I may routinely forget
    Not to write long emails or such message in a forum

    I should have backed
    up the hard drive
    while computer
    was still alive

    that system did
    breakdown and crash
    it happened quick
    in one big flash

    all of a sudden a
    fatal blue screen
    wiped that hard dive
    completely clean

    all the memory
    a thing of the past
    these expensive toys
    were not meant to last

    Crashing out Loud

    I started to laugh until my computer crashed! I chuckled a few until it popped up your review. Now you can read what I say, unless your computer crashes again one day. Funny, Funny Stuff.

    HELP
    I have nowhere to run
    Laughing since the morning sun
    Arose giving me a flatulent shock
    Right royally now out of my socks...
    Inside no more a footed shroud
    Outside been flung with 'dusty' cloud
    Use for stockinged feet I have no more
    Straight jacket.. white coats..key locking the door !!!

    Computer I cannot take with me
    Arms and legs bound so tight you see
    They say I will come good in time
    Damn near lost my power to rhyme..

    Thanks Kimberly, It is so sad that it is true. I once had it happen to me and everything could have retrieved off the hard drive only if it wasn't password protected.
