The Bear

Creeping slowly down the stairs
To be met by a giant bear
His head is all fuzzy and his body bald
This is the monster or so I’ve been told
He grinned at me with a one toothed smile
His breath stank of sardines and bile
He slowly lumbered up the stair
He wouldn’t eat me, would he dare?
I pulled out my shiny knife
Then came the bears giant wife
She stared and huffed and puffed about
It took all my effort not to shout
I took my little dagger then
And fed both the bears to the giant hen
