His Mercy and Grace

I thank the Lord for His mercy and grace,
extended to all the human race,
His compassion is for all you see,
let me tell you what he's done for me.

Throughout my childhood, I was abused,
Though His love I constantly refused,
He carried me through those awful years,
as He gently wiped away my tears.

When thoughts of suicide ruled my mind,
and Satan had my heart in a bind,
He brought me back from the pits of hell,
then healing my scars- He made me well.

Agape' love has surrounded me,
my Father had other plans you see,
that I should prosper and thus succeed,
proclaiming his words to those in need.

Love covers a multitude of sin,
just open the door to let him in,
salvation is the reward we reap,
when his commandments we strive to keep.

    Sandy, this is beautiful... you and I have been through so many of the same things... the same experiences... and we share the same Savior!!

    So well written Sandy... it's perfect... it truly shows His grace... even while still sinners, dirty, marred... He died to save us... THAT'S grace... and you show it clearly in your words!
