Unforgiving

In the dead of the night you whisper my name
You ask me why I am the way I am
You fill the emptyness with all these lies
Is there any life left In those once beautiful eyes?

You can't hold onto something that was never meant to be
That will lead you to loving something so unforgiving

Why do you feel you need everyone but yourself?
The answer is out there, somewhere

Sometimes the world is not always what it seems
It takes alot of time to realize what it all means
You start to think that the better days are gone
And the years just keep going on and on
The answer is out there, it's been there all along
Somewhere in you, somewhere in me

Why am I the way I am?
Because everyone is something and I choose not to be the same

Wow... this poem had a huge impact on me. I love the way you wrote it.. and how you worded every line.
I liked how the struggle of searching for yourself inside all the lies shows in this poem.
