Indigo scars reflected from a dying sky.
Rain washing away the thoughts of the past.
Yet, hidden somewhere silent
Still lies that look you only have for one.
Stealing glances
Then snatching them away so quickly
They appear undone.
Eyes look up and that glimmer inside them is caught, frozen
Only to be taken away because you know it's impossible.
Forbidden are the feelings that you hold
But will you watch them be scattered away as silver dust
Or will you keep them as ashes within your palms?

I haven't written a poem for ages!! thanks to dani for the incentive! Something short and its about having these feelings that you really know you should hide but sometimes you just want to sing them out! Looks show many things i suppose.

This is good. Looks can mean everything and i know exactly what you mean when you have feelings you know you should hide but you just dont want to!
