Twinge of leather
embrace numb wrists.
Specks of lace
caress and kiss,
cold cerulean flesh
on mirrored silver plates...
Served with tepid wine-
The orchard beyond iron gates
where virgin cattle stand in wait;
arranged in proper order
for invited Guests to fine dine...
Freshly prepared-
Sliver here
and slice over there...
Sacred, the Heart
of this lavished course meal,
still pulsating upon arrival
so everyone can get a feel...
The cart rolled on four wheels,
commences the revival...
Top, the side dishes
from Chamber number two.
Bottom, the appetizers,
next to Ruby fondue...
Lean pieces impaled---
on caramelized bone frags.
The scent intoxicates
" A delicacy", the cook brags...
Napkins special ordered
created in the flesh.
Designs from the Art Gallery,
contorted humans work the best...
Everyone is finally seated.
Hunger overshadows the curdled screams.
Each Guest is given a knife and fork.
Desserts hung from the ceiling beams...
Author notes
“You were lullabies I forgot to sing and you fluttered away with the clouds that night”
I picked the option of do what You want..
Tenses done with intent..
Ruby is another word for Red...
Plus an unwilling *fictional* participant...

Amazing piece. I loved all the descriptions and imagery. They were perfectly put together. I thought your word choice was excellent. This piece was very powerful with emotions and how it effects the reader. It was dark and morbid but the words made it so beautiful.
Good luck in the contest
