Dark bruises streak the pale sky
Shadows dance in a melancholy downpour
Lights quiver through an opaque rain
Waves crash upon a sea drenched shore
Laughter is drowned out by the rain
Time becomes bees, stinging at any pause
Silver drops shudder as they soak
Drawing out every person's flaws
Rays of brightness come reaching out
Driving away the opaque rain
Bringing back hope and laughter
Beckoning away the dark soil stains
