Negatively Speaking to Positive Thinking

Each day when all seems lost,
And heartache seems to be all you know.
When your tears forever flow,
And the flowers lose their petals.

Each day when the blue sky turns gray,
And the sun doesn't shine.
When there is no one to call your name,
And inside yourself doubt is all you find.

Each day when challenges you face,
And abandoned you feel.
When confidence is lost,
And all color seems to fade,

All is not lost,
The sun will shine once again,
And colors will brighten too.

For you see~
Somewhere,
Be it near or far,
To where you are,

Know that you are loved.

I liked the concept but I didn't feel there was much power behind the words. I think that this could be edited to have as much meaning as it has to be represented in words.

A very caring poem that would go a long way to lifting my spirits...you are holding out your arms in an embrace of words...I always look deeper and between the lines and thats how I can feel the warmth radiating from your loving nature...whenever I feel alone, I shall come back and read this lovely piece, written by a ray of sunshine

    Love and smiles

It's very hard for some people to keep that faith and hope, or to believe that they are loved. I hope some of those people have the opportunity to read this, and realize the truth within your words. Great job!

    All the best,

    good

This is a wonderful piece of writing. First you so a superb job of describing how feeling sad or despressed feels. Then you bring a loving light to the situation reminding the reader how they are loved. This flowed so nicely and your wording was
very good. I really liked this a lot.
    good job on this one.

i agaree with the sentiments expressed in this poem. is it an early draft? some of the language seems a little contorted to me when i read it out loud. is that because you meant it to sound this way, or because you haven't crafted it yet?

or perhaps it is a poem which follows the way you speak?

    best wishes,

    All is not lost,
The sun shine will once again,
    And colors will brighten too.

perhaps in this stanza saying the sun will shine once again for as it is it doesn't really flow or make sense.

spill ink and twist me into the crazy shape of love...

Very true words and a fine message from you!

Now that's what I'm talking about! When you truly know that you are loved - all of lifes little mishaps, troubles, and woes seem so inconsequential and a millon miles away! When those gray and bsy days have got you down and sinking into the quicksand of stress ans strive - embrace the love of your life and know that (he or she) is all that matters! A fine piece, indeed!
    Love & Peace!

Nothing is lost. Despite the way the world may turn, the sun always rises in the east and sets in the west. There is always a moon, though we may not always see it. And we always have a home, though there may be no roof over our heads.

Such a gorgeous piece! I've had similar discussions with many people, mostly with just one person, who never listened to me, but someday he'll see that I was right. No matter how bad things are, they can always get worse, but on the other hand, we are all so blessed. For, if nothing else, there's somebody out there who loves us more than life itself.

Thanks for sharing this piece, mummy. C'est magnifique.

    VERY BEAUTIFUL AND HEARTFELT!!!!!

WOW!!! This was so uplifting. Thank you. I loved it. It reminds me of a walk I was told to take by my special friend Ed, Poetic- Soldier the other day. He said go out and think positive and look at the clouds and the trees. He motivates me everyday with such love and caring. He is so right, nature is a wonderful way to see the beauty in our surrounding and within. Thank you so much for sharing the sunshine with us . Sandy
