for what you have done
and how you thought you would get away with it

for beating her
and for raping her daughter ... my best friend

for never noticing the pain
but most of all i hate her mom
you beat her
but she let you rape her daughter
I hate the both of you
I hate the both of you
for putting me in that situation
but most of all for hurting my sister
I hate myself
i set a bad example
i cut myself and she followed my path
How could i be so stupid
to lead her through my mistakes
i helped her hide them instead of getting her out
I hate myself
for ruining this family
and losing my bestfriend...

There is no forgiveness in this - what worries me though is the lack of forgiveness for yourself when you were not to blame at all. Don't let this blight your life forever or the abuser has triumphed. Look forward and learn to trust those who merit your trust. I wish you so much luck. camus

A truly heartbreaking write. One that is so full of sadness and emotional turmoil. Just know that it isn't your fault.

this is a very sad write my dear, i always tell my *children* that you must speak out to anyone and everyone that will listen, abusers only do these things thinking that WE the abused will give them an alibi, you must tell a teacher/trusted relative or even a policeman, dont let this man do the same thing to another child as well,

This poem speaks to my heart. This is exactly what happened to my best friend who finally got put into foster care. It got worse for me though. Her step-dad then molested me. It was horrible.
