His Soulful Woman
tends to her soul
She loves without boundaries
without levels, with wild abandon
She touches the earth with her hands
feeling the soil, rubbing it on her body
The connection between her and Mother earth
become the fire of life
She feels, she breathes, she loves
Her powers are captivating, sometimes
unknowingly to her, she leaves victims
wondering if they have even met her
Do they even know her? Will they ever really know her?
This Soulful Woman is full of depth,
desire, longing for more
Knowing that there may never be enough
She has become attached to a Soulful Man
Who has lost himself in his love for her
She dances her dance of wanton to keep his
Heart and Soul full of her
His desires have become enmeshed in hers
And he is trying to maintain control of his senses
He may be able to do that for a short period
Then again he seeks the woman that has claimed
His soul, His love, His life,
His Soulful Woman

Beautiful again
I like the notion of two soul mates finding one another, as you might gather from my poetry. I especially like the line "Who has lost himself in his love for her," because love is really about losing the self. Self replaced by "The other," is an apt description of love.

I really like this verse because it is so powerful in what it is saying. This describes a woman in any man's eyes. Especially to a man that desires this special woman. You are gifted.

This is my other favorite part because it describes a man after he realizes that he has the ultimate woman in his life. Better yet his soul mate. This is wonderful.

The seperation brings all kinds of negative things like envy, jealousy and hatred which make us sullen and start a battle inside which we are never able to understand throughout our life.The longing will be there for some one who is dear to us and to be with them is a desire that do everlasting circles inside the mind. A well written piece that was full of emotion and conjured imagery of soulfull abandonement,pleasure and ease both one's self and with one's lover.I tentatively suggest you may like to look again at the third line from the end,this is not a criticism but this line caught my attention by stopping the flow at both read throughs "then again he is seeks the woman he claims" perhaps I may suggest " then again he has sought the woman he claims" As ever it must be your choice as the author what you prefer,this is your creation and an enjoyable read,well written.Love and light,Yvette
