The Incarnation

Missing image
Centuries ago in an obscure little town,
An angel in a shining white gown
Visits a young maiden girl
To announce the savior of the world.

The fullness of time has come.
God's wondrous plan has begun.
In the little town of Bethlehem,
Almighty God becomes a man.

Destined to die on a cross.
God has come to save the lost.
The infant shall die a young man,
So we may sit at his right hand.

Out of his great love and charity,
Once to save all humanity,
In the little town of Bethlehem,
Almighty God becomes a man.

A very nice presentation and beautiful rendering of our Lord's birth and the reason for His coming. The meaning of Christmas is well described in this piece. Shelley

    Lovely

He became a man so I'd become the best I can. True believers are one in the grace of Father-divine, surrendering All on their plate for His victory.

Mary's uncle (Joseph of Arimathea who went to England after imprisonment, for giving Christ his tom is my ancestor. I first felt the Holy Spirit's arms of Love around me at the age of three; but I've also had to fight like hell to stay true to Father-God (of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, who are also my ancestors).

You did a brilliant write and at such a meaningful time as Christmas; thanks, melphleg, for sharing this.
    Regards, ~Milly.
