Absence

Feels like somethings missing,
I haven't become what I wanted,
I never got what I wanted.
Absence of a purpose.
Throwing out words of obscurity,
Doesn't get me anywhere.

Travelling to the oasis,
Only to realise its a mirage.
Absence of reality,
Makes me dream too much,
I don't understand I haven't won,
It'd help if I helped myself,
I mean how couldn't I
Of seen ts just a mirage?

Absence of a mind,
Absence of a heart,
Absence of a soul,
Doesn't make me a better person.
