“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright. “
But the meaning they do not know
Will another Christmas pass by tonight
Without knowing Christ gave his life away;
He bore our sins on a cross to pay.
For every mother's child who has gone awry ,
The child born was destined to die.
“And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways, “
Listen and believe Jesus was born to die for you

wonderful~
Very spiritual and inspirational...
There is too much commercialism in Christmas everyone outspending money on gifts they will owe for for the rest of the year...some years...and yet many do forget the true meaning of Christmas....
The gift that we were given life....is the most blessed gift of all......and hoping someone somewhere finds open hearts and minds and accepts Christ this Christmas....
Best of luck in the contest....
Love ya
Susan~~~

Wonderful!
If only we would sing it..Mel, a wonderful rendition of the cosy song at Christmas..I too am troubled and uneasy about the superficialness at Christmas..and materialism. A heart longing for my place at the manger. You have made the words simple but STRONG, and I appreciate it..What a blessing...Rose Angel -
