Until the End Comes

I'm slipping out
Straight from existence
And no one can hold me back
These tears that I cry
Never show on the outside
These tears that I cry
Don't phase them
These tears that I cry
To them are mere pretentious notions
They are pitiless waters
That sear my brown skin as they fall
I am a friend
But they are friendless
They are blind
It's no trick of the light
Anarchy rules me with spite
They cannot care, they cannot know
Why I am who I am
They don't understand
They cannot grasp my ways
For I am invisible
And a lifeless fragment
Of all those who share these
Painful bonds with me

Please tell me what you think

Nice work, It made me think. I like your style, I tend to use it myself. Keep going, next thing you know you will be in love and finally happy.

    I understand

This is a beautiful poem rich with deep emotions.

I can relate to a great extent. I know how it feels to be invisible like a lifeless fragment. I knew I was bisexual for 4 years before I came out.I was filled with these same emotions during those 4 years. I often cried from this pain and I couldn't tell anyone why I was crying so I made up some excuse. I wanted to be accepted and know my friends and the world around me would continue to love and embrace me. But people judge and it's especially painful when those people are friends. I wish we can someday live in a world where all people can be themselves at all times and love whoever their heart desires.

    Anyway I enjoyed.

wow. this was great. i felt myself racing to finish it as i got closer to the end, feeling the passion and pain in the poem. it could have been a tad bit stronger i believe, but other than that it ROCKED.
