I Was Young (...exonnerate me)

It was bigger than us,
dwarfing all my fears
and grander than your ego...

Exonnerate me

I was young and so afraid
of missing out
of getting laid-
scared to death
of each new thing,
anything and everything

Move on,
because that's all been
said and done
Forget,
because it's you
whose really won.

Burn the pictures,
but keep the smile on your face
in place of what once dwelt
watch our faces as they melt

because we felt.

Oh no! You let me down with this one. I had imagined me as the only one of the two of us with jaded realities. Well maybe this is just poetry and not reality. If so that is great. Another fine piece with the picture being burned. The faces melting in the flame. Uncle Robin will try to show you what I am thinking of for a project soon. If you do not like the idea, or I am not sold on it myself we will know soon. Another great write and I want you to know that I have one more for the Winter Collection that is not or never was finished called, "Divided". it may never be finished but is in the works and has been for a while. Love ya Emma. RC

I am sorry to have let you down, but this poem had to come out. It was one of those truths that you bury inside yourself until you can't take it anymore and it needs must be released. I appreciate your comments as always Uncle Robin.
