Where's My Baby Gone?

First day back at school
He gets sent home
Three irate teachers
Alternatively on the phone
My blood boils over
Anger inwardly growing
But he thrives on arguments
So my rage is not worth showing
Instead I grit my teeth
And send him to his room
Banning the playstation
Drums, TV and tunes
He comes out at intervals
With fierce attitude and gob
I daren't raise my hand to him
Cause I fear I'll never stop
So I sit to retrospect
Of where the hell I went wrong
And of what kind of Mother
Cant control her own son

Where's my baby gone

Author notes

Feeling kind of frustrated that my twelve year old son keeps getting kicked out of school and is full of anger for everyone and everything, including me.

Please tell me what you think

Sorry katey..but that's teenagers..especially if we are sole parents...ask him is there a problem? and help him rectify it by just listening! There might be more going on in his world that he can't tell you right now..does it get better? In my case..only after jail..lol..they go through their trauma's too!
I can't say here, because i think it got worse before it got better? Just keep your strength, and don't give in! Great write as usual!

      Or beat him down!!!

You know what he's like!!! It's actually been quite nice him being grounded! Got him doing all the chores and his attitude is beginning to drop! Got a little bit of my baby back! x Thanks for applause x

Thankyou for this very moving comment. I know you're right and I will get my baby back one-day, but at the moment it seems like a million miles away. Your kind words have touched my heart.
