Don't let people tell you.
What to do or what to say.
Trust me on this one.
It WILL ruin your day.

Be yourself.
Its the only way to go.
Forget what people tell you.
Because, what do they know?

All they know how to do.
Is act the way they're told.
And that's probably why they're all stuck up.
And why, when they speak to you, their words are cold.

But even though sometimes.
Their words cut you deep.
Hold your head up and talk to your friends.
Because the road you're takin, is pretty steep.

Its only steep because.
People will judge the hell out of you.
And all you need to do, is.
Stick up your middle finger, and say, "Fuck you too!"

Yes, you could be hated a little more.
But why should you care?
You still have friends, don't you?
So change for them? Don't you dare.

Because people who are "different" or "weird".
Are usually the ones who make it.
They can somehow get through life.
Because their dreams, they wouldn't let anybody take it.

And yes, I do know.
How it feels to be put down.
You try your hardest to get back up.
But it seems like somebody's always standing over you with a frown.

You probably, mostly, feel.
Like you're all alone.
But there are people who feel just like you.
People who don't ever want to go home.

But I'm here to say.
There is always someone who can catch you when you fall.
Not your parents or a psychotherapist.
Not those people who don't have a heart at all.

It will, most likely, be your friends.
They seem to know alot.
They know when you're upset, even when you hide it.
And they're able to make your life better, on the spot.
