Graduation Of 2006

Being the first,
Is the greatest feeling.
Having everyone try,
and try over again.
Knowing that everyones waiting,
Just to see if you fail.
Graduation was the greatest feeling,
Hearing my name over the loud speakers,
As I walked in front of everyone, to get my diploma,
Only a few knew I'd messed up once earlier.
I can't believe she was forty-five minutes late,
Even daddy was there early.
You'd think he first child to graduate,
She'd be there early or at least on time.
Maybe if Keesha makes it you'll get to hers on time.
If not maybe when I graduate from college.
I'm here to prove my family isn't stupid.
I'm the First McNaughton, in my family line, to finish high school,
Maybe the stupid jokes will stop after I finish college.
