You chatted with them idly. when in the middle of a conversation all of them stopped talking and looked to their left. Just like someone had walked into the room.
*What? What’s wrong?* you asked confused at their sudden silence
*Nothing!* Adam said as he looked at you with a Cheshire grin.
*They‘re giving you another chance!* Lisa screamed with joy.
*what?* you asked your heart beginning to beat again. Deep thuds that shocked the wind out of you.
*You‘re going to live!* Paul said smiling at you.
*What? Why?* you were so confused the good feeling. The relief the peace, was evaporating.
*They decided that you weren‘t ready.*
*You‘re safe now.*
*Wait.  Who decided?*
*They aren‘t angels...nmore like ceo‘s of the company…*
*What am I.. Who?* the heaviness had all but returned. The clouds fading slowly with Lisa Adam and Paul.
*Frankie.* Lisa said placing a hand to her smiling face to wipe away a tear.
*What about him?* you asked crying. You didn’t want them to go.
*He‘s a good guy. Don‘t fuck things up with him.* Paul said touching your hand.
*What?* you asked gasping for air. It was like a polar bear was doing a horizontal river dance on you.
*Just stop asking questions.* Paul said.
*We‘ll see you again. I KNOW that. *Lisa said fading away
*We‘ll always be watching*Adam said fading into a shadow
*We‘ll always be waiting.* Psaid Paul with tears in his eyes. He didn’t let go of your hand and you grasped harder.
*Don‘t leave me! Don‘t leave. Take me with you. TAKE ME TOO! DON‘T LEAVE ME DON‘T LEAVE ME. I WANT TO BE WITH YOU. DON‘T LEAVEME HERE. I DON‘T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITHOUT YOU. I DON‘T WANT TO FORGET YOU.*
You held onto him until he was gone and you held nothing but air. You were grasping so hard you tore the flesh of your palm. With the realization of them abandoning you again. You began to thrash about in anger.  You froze as you turned your head to the left and looked into a bright light. The brightest light you had seen in months.
