Virtually every Sabbath lesson broadcast by TSaS, past and present, seems different from each other, only to conclude with the same requirement: "God's Ten Precepts." Some might think TSaS dwells on "God's Ten Commandments" only. So, we went to the Holy Spirit in prayer, asking Him to provide a lesson not tied to the Law.
The Spirit said, "ALL things refer to God's Law: both right and wrong, both life and death." When various treatises over the years were reviewed as well as research and study conducted for over thirty years, we perceived the truth in Holy Spirit's adamant declaration. There is not one Biblical event, parable, or prophecy that does not some how and in some way turn to "God's Doctrine"— in either the New or Old Testaments!
This makes perfect sense; in that God never wanted any laws and/or ordinances for the people, except those which only He first spoke and, finally, wrote with His own finger upon stone and, at last, provided us with the living example of Jesus: the "Statutes of Life" depending upon God's two Royal Laws of Love; again, as He first declared in the Old Testament: in full opposition to modern teachings that Jesus purportedly gave those two laws as new commandments meant to replace the Ten. They were not at all new and always were meant to work with the Ten.
In fact, the only difference between the Old Testament— wherein God directed that the people love Him and their neighbor as well as obey His Law plus Moses' various ordinances— and the New Testament is that now God requires we love Him and His Son, our Lord and Saviour, AND obey "The Father's Doctrine" as given in the beginning. The other difference is that Christ replaced Moses' ordinances of sacrifice and oblation.
In comparing Exodus to Deuteronomy, where the "Law of Liberty" is recited in each as the same Ten set out in stone, it was determined the ordinances were not, in fact, given in Exodus. Moses broke the first tablets when angered at finding his people worshiping a golden calf they had crafted in his absence: this event noted in Exodus. It was after this occurrence that God called Moses back to the mountain and again wrote His Doctrine in stone but, this time, He also had Moses write ritual ordinances in "a book;" noted in Deuteronomy. Yes, Moses was to include the Ten Statutes and Royal Law in this book, but only because the tablets never were to be touched again after placed in the ark; thus, teaching the Twelve would be done from the book; parchment scrolls, as it were.
Not only did God say His Law was perpetual, thus to stand forever even in the new earth and heavens, but He also wrote them in stone to signify permanence. The ordinances of sacrifice and oblation were written by Moses on parchment, indicating both a temporary nature and the fact they were not God's desire, rather after man's worldly lusts, and which God said would be temporary: "a shadow of better to come."
Parchment and paper eventually return to dust; therefore, the time would come when those temporary ordinances of sacrifice and oblations would cease from old earth, and they did, as Daniel prophesied. These were the ordinances God stated were "not good."
God also gave ordinances He declared "good": ordinances for man's health and for earth's fertility. Observance of these remains until earth and the heavens are made new: at which time ALL will be restored to perfection then continue in a state of perfection forever by God's design: no longer a need for any ordinances. While all ordinances are temporary, they do not all end at the same time for various reasons: "on earth, as it is in heaven." It should be clear why God's health ordinances remain until earth is made new.
The fact God's "Law of Righteousness" is permanent, as demonstrated above, another proof is represented by every event, parable, and prophecy always leading back to His Doctrine, to one or more of God's Precepts exemplified or represented in the event or parable or prophecy; even as demonstrated by His Son Jesus Christ, our Saviour, as well as by His Apostles: who also taught God's "Law of Blessings." After all, the Law's various titles reflect its permanence and what God's Law represents and its intrinsic value, blessings as it were, to those who believe and obey: those titles set out in quote marks and/or bold font in this study.
The Old Testament reveals that every time Israel obeyed God's Law they were rewarded; each time they disobeyed, they were punished: 1) Adam and Eve disobeyed and were cast from Eden; 2) Jonah was cast into the belly of a whale for disobeying, freed only when he agreed to obey; 3) Job was struck down by Lucifer as a test and, because of Job's obedience, God restored Job greater; the people did not enter the promised land for their disobedience, only their children; Moses did not enter the promised land, because he did not control the people's wayward ways, though he lived the maximum number of years and was redeemed with Christ; Israel was occupied and/or destroyed several times for disobedience; even pagans were told that if they obeyed God's Law and His fourth Precept Sabbath, He would give them a name greater than sons and daughters —
The list goes on and on, each event directly relating only to God's Ten Laws and His Royal Law of Love. In fact, for all that the Jews gained or lost, it always was for obeying or disobeying God's Statutes of Life; it never was for any of the ordinances.
Throughout the New Testament, readers and/or believers repeatedly are told of the rewards for obedience and the punishment for disobedience; the latter being sentenced to "twice dead," if they refuse to repent and sin no more. Each of Christ's parables lead to and end with the admonition to believe and obey: even Revelation states three times that we must have the faith of and in Jesus as well as obey God's Law: two keys required to inherit God's kingdom.
It is a blatant lie when Christian leaders say it is impossible for us to obey God's Law and that God said it was impossible. The only law God said was impossible were the ordinances of sacrifice and oblation: NOT His Ten Commandments. It is not even logical to believe such a thing. To obey or not to obey is a choice WE make, a choice influenced by whether or not we truly love God and Christ: "upon these two depend all the Law."
God also told us why He would send a Messiah: a man more precious than gold, a perfect man to exemplify what God desires of us all: that we become like God. And, Jesus told us exactly why He had come based on what His Father had said of Him in the Old Testament: 1) "to magnify and make honourable God's Law, which Christ magnified by obeying, thus giving us a living example to follow; and, He made it honourable by teaching others to do the same; and, 2) He came to die for our "past" sins, that we may choose to "go and sin no more." Bottom line? We choose to obey or not to obey.
Only ordinances of sacrifice and oblation were impossible, for they seemed to allow a person to sin all year, then be cleansed at the end of each year: at least, this is how the Pharisees and the people discerned those ordinance laws; as though by virtue of the annual atonement sacrifice and oblation, they could sin throughout the year without punishment and be cleansed again at the next year's atonement sacrifice: sin without fee. So, they erroneously continued in sin AND continued to be punished.
Alas, Christian leaders today apply the same discernment to Christ's sacrifice; despite His crucifixion deemed as being for our "past" sins, with the admonition thereafter to "go and sin no more." Additional clarification: "for if you willingly sin again, there is no further atonement; only a fearful waiting for judgment." Note that the verse says, "willingly sin." This is to commit a sin knowing full well that it is a sin. So many people today are heard saying, "Well, yeah, I know that's what the Bible says, but it doesn't apply anymore. Jesus knows I can't be perfect, so He died for all of my sins; past, present AND future!" This IS to willing, knowingly, deliberately sin; which is to "transgress God's Law."
As thoroughly as TSaS searched the Bible for a lesson that does not conclude with God's Law as a definite requirement in some way or other, we could not find one event or parable or prophecy that omits God's desire of those who claim belief. Several times God said, "I wish they had a heart to obey my Law." Jesus taught the same and admonished the Pharisees for teaching and living "man's commandments and traditions," which had been influenced by heathen ways and beliefs and icons: instead of God's Law and Testimony. Christ expounded further when He said, "Anyone who obeys God's Law and teaches others the same, will be called great in heaven."
We looked at Bible lessons about of love, yet were again drawn to God's Statutes; for it is by love that we obey God, it is in love that we care for others, it is by love that we give good for evil, it is in love that we forgive even the worst things. If we truly love God, we want to obey thus choose to obey. If we truly love Jesus, again we choose to believe He is God's Son and choose to obey His Father's Doctrine; this latter as Christ directed. If we truly love, we love and care for our brethren and our enemies. We even are told in the New Testament, "We know we love God because we obey His Commandments."
By God's grace undeserved, we are CALLED to salvation through His Son. But! By our love we believe and obey thus become CHOSEN. As Jesus said, "Many are called, few are chosen." And, as the Bible reveals, only the chosen inherit God's earthly kingdom. There is no denying that, when first saved, we must "grow up" into the same righteousness of God and Christ. This means we may sin thereafter but not be aware. Still, as we grow in God's Word and learn the weightier matters of the Law, that Christ mentioned, we are to cease any and all sin that we discover or that God reveals to us through the Holy Spirit. When all sin ceases from our life, then we are worthy to be presented as a chaste bride to our Groom.
This exposition deliberately contains no scripture references for two reasons: 1) members should search their Bibles for themselves while allowing the Spirit to prove or disprove the premise herein; and, 2) all related scriptures are referenced and quoted in many of our previous Bible lessons. Beware of "ordained" Christian leaders, who are loaded with many "excuses" for what they teach but not one godly "reason" to teach it. They teach from the "lusts of their hearts," thus lack both God's power and the Holy Spirit.
Do not be deceived; for not all who are called are automatically chosen. "ALL things refer to God's Law: both right and wrong, both life and death," saith the Spirit.

Author notes
The above article might seem totally irrelavent to the A/P title of "Global Warming or God's Wrath;" but, it really is relavent, for it points out what we must do to avoid God's Wrath that has been pouring out upon humanity since 1991: which has become exponentially worse every year, this past year to date being the worst we have ever seen.
God stated in the Old Testament that the natural elements in and around earth are His weapons for these end days: such as snow, ice, high winds and whirlwinds, earthquakes and volcanoes. God's wrath is being poured out because, as He said in the beginning, "There must be an end" to wickedness and the devastation exacted upon this planet by mankind.
The appointed end is to occur at sometime during this last church age of Laodicea. So, PLEASE, read and believe and adhere. . . before it's too late.

You ROCK Mom!
"Many are called, few are chosen." And, as the Bible reveals, only the chosen inherit God's earthly kingdom.
Is it really so difficult? Open your eyes OH EARTHLING MAN!
Love it, Mom.

excellent
This is so true. We cannot escape God's Law the same way we cannot escape His Love. We may deny Him or hide from Him but His Truth is always there. It is life to us.
Thank you for another wonderful Sabbath lesson. You are such a blessing to me and to all those seeking Him.
Love and hugs forever and ever
