No More Conventional Religion!

Conventional religion can be a bit boring
How often have snores been heard in chapel!
All those tuneless hymns and catholic chants
Those are not for me, oh no, oh no!

When you know you are playing for high stakes
And that the options are stark and clear to all
Endless milk and honey in Heaven if you are saved,
Endless torture, wailing and being burned to a cinder
In the very depths of devil-infested Hades if you are not
It gets more interesting and gives a spur to thought!

I know where I'm going: so get the milk and honey ready
And I hope they have CCTV there cameras so I can watch
The evil sinners suffering in deepest hottest Hell
So richly have they deserved their terrible fate!

I really like these lines you have done very well with your imagery in these lines. I do agree with you. You have done very well from title to finsh. I enjoyed the flow and content with this write. Very well done.

You are so right. This is a high stakes game we are playing and so view even take the time to consider their religion. God is the most important thing there is in life and beyond in death, yet people get bored when you bring up Jesus in a conversation. I could talk about the Lord for most of the day, probably not run out of praise. Great poem, well written.

If people get bored, keep him out of conversation! Just relish the fact as to who will be saved and who will BURN!

the problem with your theory is that you contradict yourself.
if this is truley what you believe, I hope you get when you want.
But I find much more sense in the world of Jusaism, and much more truth in my own beliefs.

Give Jesus my regards if you see him in Heaven but, as long as Hell has horse-racing, rock music and plenty of scantily-clad devilettes, I'll be a happy man.

Heaven will NOT have horse racing, nor hideous rocking music. Maybe pussy-patting but that's it.
