I look into your eyes,
and see,
your heart dancing
to see me.
Your soul is glowing,
as bright as a star,
and your tongue dances
behind your lips
to touch mine
gently and caressing.
You hold me,
in your arms
like you'll never let go.
You cradle my head,
on your chest,
as you slowly rock me,
to sleep.
As you lay me down,
you whisper the words
"I love you"
you put your arm over me,
and I lay there,
looking in your eyes
as you sing me to sleep.
I finally slumber,
you move gently
to give me a kiss
on the forehead,
goodnight.
