The Hunchback

Quasimodo, the bell ringer,
another gargoyle on the facade
of gothic Notre Dame.
He dances on the towers
and then, like some monstrous leech,
clings and swings on the bells
that ring out the beauteous
songs of Paris.
He lives, a cycloptic goblin,
as God's reminder
that this badly assembled
debris of catacombs,
this incredulous motley '
medly of distorion need not be
Nature's singular error in judgment.

I find it interesting that when thinking of "grotesque" you think of Quasimodo. You wrote this rather well though, I enjoyed reading it
