The rain poured down,
as she picked up the lighter.
Taking a deep breath
She inhaled its smokey goodness.
Feeling the joint taking effect
She leant back her head.
Taking another deep breath
She took out his photo.
A long snake of smoke
curled lovingly round his face.
Another deep breath
She's feeling better.
A smile crept across her face
a tear rolled down her cheek.
She smiled as she drew on.
The front door opened.
He stepped into the room
saw her, the joint, the photo and smiled.
Passing him the joint
he took a long deep breath.
They curled up on the sofa
smiling, laughing and smoking.

I would say, not your best work, but then again, I think I like your later stuff better. It feels like there is no emotion, and just actions. I do on the other hand, like the fact the fact that you are telling a little story with this piece. Good write.
