When a hundred thousand thoughts
Are running fast throughout my head,
Why is it when I need it most,
There's not a single tear to shed?
I really need some clarity
To sort out all the pain.
This hurtful mess I find myself in,
Is emotionally, a huge drain.
I honestly don't know what to do,
Who can I turn to that truly cares?
Who can understand my point of view,
Without trying to force upon me theirs?
I can't escape it anymore,
The walls around me keep falling in.
The endless arguing that haunts my dreams,
It's making my defensive walls just way to thin.

all i can think of is that linkin park song with "giving me some clarity to ... la di la di da" (i'm listening to metalica and so can't really rmember the exact lyrics)
