A fury simmers hot beneath the surface
tired of being told to do certain things
yet as the words pass through those lips
the speaker turns around and does just that
over and over again
she goes against what she says
don't say those bad words, she says
than all of a sudden she's mad
she calls me an ungrateful bitch
yet I have NEVER called her anything that bad
not since my senior year of high school
so why is it that she can get away with certain things
and I am punished for those same things?
