Trust a Man

I'd love to surrender myself completely to a man
Be held in strong protecting arms
Put my heart in his hands
Trust him with my life
He'd have to be patient
And oh so kind
But every man I've ever loved has abandoned and hurt me
So for now it's just a beautiful illusion
Because my heart doesn't trust men
Please let my heart trust men

I wrote this in April. It's taking me a lot of time to get all my new one's posted. I believe this is a self explanatory poem. Please no critical comments as always.
