Please understand
This is how I am
I know it seems strange.
I want you to carry on
I just like to watch
And listen
I'm finding myself and where i am.
I want to be quiet
Im nervous but thoughtful
Waiting for the right time
To slide into the crowd
I want you to understand
Please Listen
This is who i am
Strange as it may seem.

This is about how i am/feel around lots of people, i tend to just sit in the background for a while, and people dont always understand why.

hmmmmmm, "slide" into the crowd. that caught me, there. slide is such an appropriate word to use in that situation. it does well to describe your overall indifference on the subject ( one that i share, for sure). personally, i simply like the overall tone of this poem, and wont do it an injustice by trying to describe it. nice work.
