I went Cave exploring
One day with a friend
Swimming inside and adoring
The Cave without end
The Ocean seemed to glide
Along a wide ledge
One could slip and slide
Right down to the water's edge
While playing around for a while
I heard other laughter abound
My face broke into a smile
When I slowly turned around
For there were severl Mermaids
Having a jolly good time
With long flowing hair and braids
And innocence so fine
They didn't take notice of me
And continued to have their fun
What a lovely time I could see
As they played there without sun
Slowly they seemed to swim away
With the laughter ringing in my ears
The beauty of the lovely creatures this day
Brought slow falling drops of tears
