For a score of years I’ve walked your world now
And for so long I cursed every day
And only now do I see my stupidity
And the mediocrity of my pains

Watching men act like beasts and hounds
Not one of them cared about the future that waits
And nor did I for the longest time
As I wasted the best years of my life
I became like those monsters, rotting inside
And I blamed everything on you
The eternal scapegoat for mans own misery
When the responsibility for my troubles
Rests entirely on me
I wish I could be forgiven
Though I know not how to make amends
I believe I’ve met your angels
So I’ll do everything I can for them
