All the house-clothed women of roses,
the zoo of parking meters and ducking umbrellas,
posed themselves upon the sidelines
(frozen to listen on the songloving sidewalk)
when he of the rainy glasses and daysmiling eyes sang.
Author notes
this was inspired by a scene in a music video that featured the singer just standing on the street and the world frozen as he sang. I think it was a U2 song because the singer had the stupidly beautiful 'life rocks' smile that only Bono can give.
