Sid & Nancy...Now Thats Love

Once upon a time
There was a boy named Sid
He loved a girl named Nancy
No matter what she did
There love was like no other
And no one understood
But to them it didn't matter
There love was there for good
It was them against the world
Together they would stand
Fighting for their love
Fighting hand in hand
She left this world before him
He felt lost with out her love
It didn't take him long
To join her up above

Sid & Nancy
RIP

    Nice

A great modern Romeo & Juliet story.
I especially like the flow, it is easy to follow.

Mmmmm, Sid and Nancy, addicted to the need to feed their mutual hunger to be fed narcotics instead of spoon-fed reality...
They walked, stumbled, mumbled on the wild side of introspection in the refection of personal pleasure pursuits surely?
The red font makes me think of the cardinal colour of blood, makes it harder to read.
The write inspired me to change my CD to the soundtrack to Natural Born Killers from the movie by Oliver Stone, if you haven't seen the movie, you must watch it if you want to see something very different re love.
NB line eight methinks maybe there/their. Emotional content strongly felt and direction too. The poetess writes of one level of love that reduced two and therin lies a paradox which perplexes, if it felt so good, how did it cause so much harm?
Poets have wrangled the machinations of love since the usage of quill and perhaps, perhaps they always will...

    His heart became Pretty Vacant

Tells more of their romantic side, I love how much they were in love. I can't count how many times I've watch that movie, freaking awesome. Thank you for sharing this. Hope you're doing fine. Take care and take it easy.

Wow, this took a sad twist, I really liked this though, makes you think of your own experiences then the end just grabs your heart. Very well penned!

    Blessings always,
    Adriana
