As I swing my way to the rainbow high
Holding to the cords of clouds from sky,
My dark cascade, caressed by breeze
While delightful verses, I recite with ease;
Life is just a jocund dream
A tale told, beneath the half moon's gleam.
If dreams were diamonds, I'd store them with care
And watch the shine, beneath the hot sun's glare,
A page of fantasy, let to sway
Read carefree, to live my way..
Like a lone shell, on the sea side sand
Picked and treasured by a wayward hand..
I swing my way in a careless spree
Leaving behind the hill and tree,
With sunshine's blessing and raindrop's kiss,
I shall seek my way to the home of bliss
And settle with ease on the rainbow's arc
Until there comes the twilight's spark.
Its a tale told, 'neath the half moon's gleam
Life lingers, in the promise of a dream..

100th Hoodwink!
Oh so beautiful, you paint such glorious pictures in my mind even without the accompanying picture. I am at a loss for words. Except I would love to take this trip! Best to you

"With sunshine's blessing and raindrop's kiss,
I shall seek my way to the home of bliss"
Oh my...this is such an enchanting piece...I loved the flow, the rhyme, and its lovely images... if this is 'in the promise of a dream' I'll make sure that I'll have that dream....this is such an awesome work!!!
