The wraith like swirls,
That leave my lips,
The path it curls,
As it enters the world.
The demon inside of me,
Always calls and never rests,
Ever more regularly,
But for a few short moments I am free.
The little bit of death,
That comes ever closer,
With each ending breath,
How much time do I really have left?
So I've finally finished for now,
But within the hour I know,
Another deathly cloud,
Will rise above my brow.

lol its about smoking, in the uk there are adverts on how to stop smoking and to beat the demon inside of you and i kinda got the idea for this poem. "wraith like swirls leaving my lips" is the smoke being exhaled the way it wisps away, "the demon inside of me" is kinda the craving and the addiction, "the little bit of death" refers to the notion that smoking causes cancer which causes death, and the last verse is about how after ive finished a cigarette i know that the cravings will get to me again and i'll need another one and the "deathly cloud" is in refernce to passive smoking being a cause of death.
there you go poem explained.
