Before the last star fades from sky,
Leaving the stage for twilight’s dance
When darkness goes hushing by and the moon still waits,
To see the dawn adorn her throne..
And the shade on sky is still not bright
With traces of night sticking still..
Its that golden moment, when I’ll wait
At the royal gates of blissful dreams
To greet and hear the music in silence..
The sky is still not bright and its no more night
Somewhere between the dusk and dawn
When golden swans are said to fly
And mermaids rush to hide..
Like the hidden path in a winding raod
Where treasure in cartloads lie..
Its a precious moment, ‘midst night and day
When fairies peep through window sills..
In a distant home, a sleeping child has seen the charm
She sighs, in sleep she smiles..
As darkness quietly goes
Hushing the stars to leave the sky
And the moon still waits
To greet twilight on the way..
There's a gentle knock on the golden gates
Catch the dreams, they elude with grace
Before the last star fades from sky..
Hold them tight and store with care
For life just lies in the promise of a dream..

You have presented such beautiful imagery in this piece and written well to Tinkerbell's words.
The moon, the stars, the fairy peeps, all so vivid in description.
A lovely entry for this contest. Thank you for this beauty. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
