Loyalty

Those that offer the most jokes
Also cut the most throats,
Wrists slashed
Crying past
The broken stage of morbid curiosity.

You see me smile
I laugh at myself,
What’s left, not yours,
That is all you will see
Never anything more
Never me drowning
The noise so resounding
As my own fear rips the breathe
Unfurled knife against pale chest
As I wait
For delicious fate
And trembling wrist unfurl it's viscosity.

So take me at face value
Judge this book by its cover
Never know there lurks another
Self deprived, hating bitch.
Accept my smiles
Accept my fakeness
Never acknowledge my last request
Let me drown into my self
My shattered mind gone way past help
Because I will always have my permanent companion
He sings to me, and would never abandon
The blood bond
His thirst strong
As I impale my flesh again and again.

Author notes

Ew. It rhymes.
Yeah I usually don't rhyme, but oh well. The first few lines cames out with some form of rhyme, so I just kept at it.

It does seem like a broken rhyme, but I guess that's the point. Seems to suit the words.

I'm pretty sure the secret is obvious, and true, and hopefully enough emotion for you. If anyone really don't get it, just message me. Like I said though, I'm pretty sure it is obvious.

[Btw, those first lines are true. Comedians have the higher suicide rate amoung jobs, which makes sense to me.]
Honesty is always wanted above ego stroking.
