I hear you calling...my heart you own, forever yours to keep.
It beats wildly yet there is a calmness that runs so deep,
deep and alive as the life that stirs within your depth,
true as the knowledge and wisdom you have always kept!
I walk along your waiting shore, your cool fingers caressing my skin.
Your restless spirit captivates me as our peace together unites once again.
I feel you sing to me...waves crashing into this lonely heart
sending a message on the wind, consuming all thought promising never to part!
I hear you calling...my spirit soars with yours eternally
as the eagle flys above uniting our worlds, setting us free,
free to reflect as I look upon your snowcapped moutain peeks,
a life all of your own you so gladly share with me.
A winding brook cascading across its lovers soul, whispering a sigh,
kissed by the melodies of spring, offering its peaceful lullaby.
I hear your plea...for my retreat into your arms, into your silent reprieve
offering contentment and safety, a place I shall never want to leave!

Very beautiful, I love the imagery, it caused me to pause, and dream inside the imagery, seeing everything simply drifting by, very nice and enchanting scenery.

Beautiful poem! It captures the mood and the endless spirit, even the Siren's Song, cast by the Ocean! Nice work, lovely lady!

Oh this was so beautiful, you could almost hear voices on the wind as I was reading along through it ... a true masterpiece, thank you so much for sharing this gorgeously peaceful work with us

This seems like a very personal poem in which you've done good on letting us feel you.
I like the poem but the main thing I have a hard time with is the long sentences. It reads more like a "story" instead of a poem doing it that way.
I honestly hope that you don't mind me saying that
If you would like some tips on how to break it up let me know and I'll be happy to help.
In the end though my favorite part about this poem is that it's unique and the emotions pull at the heart.

Your Words
do honor to your friend’s observation. To know such things of another speaks of attentiveness born of affection and genuine concern.
The depth of words do justice as well to the serenity of both a beachhead and a mountain vista. Pleasant offering, speaking of a peace, we all could enjoy.
Well Done As Always

Breath Taking
The souls spirit travels between the worlds we love the most and it is plain to see your heart lies at the foothills of the Mountains and the shores of Mother Ocean...May you find the peace that they both bring
