What she will turn into, only time will tell,
I wanted you to be here today, not only for me,
But, for her too, such a precious moment you have missed,
That tiny little forehead, I have kissed,
I know you won't be able to do it too,
And that is why I wish she knew,
Her granddad so strong and true.
You were mine and you were taken from me,
Cancer it was, for it had to be,
'cause nothing could take you from me at a worse time,
Just past the hour, 11 minutes past nine,
The time when I needed you the most,
Was the time that you became a ghost.
I hate you for leaving me,
And for not lasting to see your new grand-daughter,
The only one, you didn't see,
That's the part that crushes me,
She will never know, the man I saw,
So brave and true,
The only one to help me through,
And now, these tears, I'm crying for you.
I miss you so much Granddad.... I love you....

My Granddad died 3 years ago now, and today, I went to the christening of my new cousin... The only grandbaby he never got the chance to meet...
I'm finding this hard... I'm gonna go and sit in my corner for a little while...

thank you so much i have been trying to write something like this it feels like a sign from heaven my grangfather died last year at the same exact time is has been so hard for me and my son and daughter and my wife but bravo thank you it has me in tears thinking of him

Oh my god.. I actually have tears in my eyes! This is so powerful, I'm speechless..
My favourite part was:
