When shall the Heavens shower some charm
I wonder, lying on the pastures here
The world is calm, the wind spells no harm
The skies are blue and my dreams are clear.
For that drop of rain to stir me
I wait, watching the white clouds float,
There's the music from the distant sea
Tickling my nerves with the melody note..
And the sunshine's kiss caressing slow
Soft, velvety strokes across my cheek,
Flowers all, drenched in the golden glow
Here fantasies hide for us to seek..
I rest with ease, on this plush, green grass
Gazing my way on the empty sphere,
I wait, for realities to pass
The skies are blue and my dreams are clear.
Please tell me what you think

Very well done. Each word and sentence flows so well to the next drawing the reader to the pasture. I love the imagery throughout.

Perfect. perfect, perfect ...
I loved these words ... they are timeless and filled with fragrant want and wish. And poetic expectations.
Well done, Precious One.

Wow, having just gotten back from a cruise in the Carribean and still adjusting to "ordinary life" again, thank you for taking me on this little journey. What a serene scene you've painted here with your words. One can almost get lost in the tranquility. Good use of rhyme here. Thank you for your entry and best wishes in the contest
