Wolfsteppen

 
He is the wolf-spirit
Who alone stands
In the illumination
Of the moonlight
Upon the lofty hills
Above his wolf pack
He often descends
From the highlands
To circle, protect
And to be a part
Of the whole pack
never compromising
Who he is alone
what sets him apart
From the others
A soul that embodies
Nobility and loyalty…
his magnanimous heart
his anger passes
strength is his name
truth is his guide
With an inner will
That when tapped
Will carry him to
Wherever he chooses
For his free spirit
Runs with the wind
And his nimble feet
Fly with eagles
A heart that Keeps
The fire of the flame
That is pure, undying
And transforming
This will bring him
To new heights
That most beings have
never reached before
he has the intellect
To embrace and comprehend
absorb and Assimilate
And to apply knowledge
With all of his keen senses


A will and wisdom
That will be the key
To his purpose in life
When the time is ripe
For his keen and exquisite
Sensitivity and affection
For family and others…
And his ceaseless openness
Give him the attributes
Of the Alpha Wolf
And this is what
brings him solely
To where he is…
he always realizes
there is more to know
he does not always have
All of the answers
there is a consciousness
That goes beyond him
And those around him
he continuously draws
From within himself
to see and understand
What others do not
For this he is unique
And the choice is his
To be a Wolfsteppen, alone…
Or to be the pack leader
And to guide others
To the higher grounds
Of the enlightenment
That is his special gift
To hold and protect alone
Or to share with others
The way of the lone wolf
Is not always an easy path
answers are within him
And thus…the Wolfsteppen
Retreats to mountainous heights
Or to his dark, quiet den
To nurture his soul and spirit
And to draw upon Creation
This inner divine source
The magnanimous Love That Is…
