For twelve years I've been clueless
Twelve years of ignorance ends today
A new life starts now
I remember when I first saw you
I didn't know who you were back then I couldn't see
You were simply words on paper
Binded together with a beautiful cover
Your inner greatness
Shining with all it's might
Screaming "PICK ME"
And I didn't hear a word
Now I know
What you've done for me
What you gave to me
A new life is within my reach
Thank you
I won't stand here doing nothing
I won't let pain and fear consume my soul
There's more to life, I'm sure
I will find it and polish it for you
Who I am hate who I've been
The past can't be erased
But I can write a different future
I will change my destiny
Author notes

Notes (directly from the notebook 4/11):
After reading part 1 of Sons of Destiny (12th book in the Cirque Du Freak series) I just thought about life, and what i wasted, what ive done to others, the book, what it taught me, what it gave me. From reading this i didnt wasnt to see people suicide and...yeah.. i wanna stop some of that. writing this kind of poetry and having others read it is the first step toward my goal.
(more) Notes(4/27):

I know how you feel here... at least some good things should come though and you are young, you're 6 years younger than me and I know that I can start again, everyone can if they put their mind to it.

Strong... Yes, I think we've all caught ourselves in a place we wish we never were in.

Pretty good, just a few minor things. I think it would look better with spelling out the number twelve and the line "Who I am hate who I've been" doesnt make that much sense to me. Other then that I enjoyed it, good luck!
