I saw you today,
And we had a chat,
You still looked divine,
Despite that hat!
Your hair was golden,
And your eyes were so bright,
And your laugh and your smile,
Well it was like the first sight.
I've been thinking alot,
About if it could still work,
Between you and me,
Or if I'm a berk.
I know what my friends would say,
If they could read my thoughts,
That I was a fool,
And I would end up distraught.
But I don't believe,
That would be so,
'Cause I fell into love,
And never let go.
So with the fact,
That you still text and call,
I'm led to believe,
That it's the same for us all.
Now I'm sat here at home,
Working out the rationality,
On whether there is still hope,
Or if this is false reality.

Honey, I'm guessing you're a girl? Not to be sexually biased or anything but still, if that's the case... well, sorry to say "it's the same for us all". But, for some reason I'm going to also make the analogy that "false reality" to "still hope" is like "glass half full" to "glass half empty"... two views of the same thing! Hmmm... either way, thank you for the entry and making an important point... gl <3

Lol thanx for the comment, but i'm a guy and this poem is about one of my ex gf. Once the contest is over if you look at the poem i wrote before this one its kind of a two part poem with this being the second part.
