That little girl,
alone in the world.
That little girl,
not one person to call a friend.
That little girl,
huddled in the corner,
trying to avoid daddies rage.
That little girl,
bruised and battered, welps on her backside.
That little girl,
she was lead away the other day,
to a squad car.
That little girl
she was me.
Author notes
My mother and father were both like this. I was always beten and used as a punching bag. But now that I have a better "home" and great friends, I'm doin sooooo much better:-)
