awwwww, this is beautifully sad. I sorta know how this feels, altough I'm not totally bedridden I do spend most of my time in bed with nothing but my memorys.
it is such a lonely place.
thank you so much for entering. good luck in the contest.

Thanks for reminding me to get the film out "The diving bell and the butterfly"
Film about a journalist struck down and paralysed. He manages to write his memoirs by painstakingly typing each letter by blinking his left eye , whilst he is hooked up to a technological gismo. It's basic message is that we all strive to communicate our experiences whatever struggle we face to do so. Makes writing poetry seem easy in comparison. -
This is a very poignant six words and one I think can be easily related to.
Well done on the little green cup, this was a joy to read.
All the best...Sue

This is very powerful. Having just spent 5 years taking care of my mother, I can tell you this is so true. Not only true, but an important part of her eventually letting go.
Congratulations on the HM.

A lifetime encompassed in six words. Excellent.

Such sadness in six words and yet so poetically correct! Thank-you for entering!
