Said Linda to me,"Jules you're stayin'"
Decision on this won't be swayin'
Your man's on night shift and kid is not home
So why would you spend the night all alone?
Plan put in action let's make this a night
With that now said,this poem I will write
Lets do it we said,with smile on our face
You'd been under stress from visit by Grace
My man dropped me off on his way to work
"You girls have fun now" he said with a smirk
A couple of drinks with music playing
Lets walk to the pub, we won't be staying
We stayed for two drinks then wandered on home
Too cold was the night for the streets to roam
Pleased to see us Chilli surely showed this
Think she may have been busting for a piss
A good night unfolded, just us two friends
Good music, drinks downed,our friendship transends
Best call it a night we both did decide
Next morn an inspection to look inside
House on the market, Agent has buyer
To chalk up a sale would be his desire
Right on the dot there's a knock at the door
Chilli is dragging her arse on the floor
Well timed move Chilli you'd just have to say
Agent and buyer just look with dismay
Excuse the mess says Linda so sincere
You see all week I've had visitors here
A quick look through house, then to the back yard
To buy this place I think they'll disregard
Both of us looking at our utmost best
In clothes we'd slept and not got undressed
Smokin' like trains in a candlelit room
Me coughing,sneezing and ready for doom
Successful inspection you'd have to say
For Linda at least, coz she'll get to stay.

Last night I stayed with my dearest friend/cousin-inlaw/sister(Recluse Writer) She has had a stressful week and she/we decided we should have a long overdue girls night. The time was right to do it.
She is renting a house that is on the market and the Real Estate Agent was bringing a prospective buyer through at 9.30 this morning.
Chilli (her much loved dog and companion), just as Linda opened the door to let the Agent and interested person in, proceeded to scratch her arse on the carpet, dragging herself a good couple of feet along the floor. It was soooooooo funny !!!!!

Glad Chilli did her bit but I know as you do how well behaved she can be...the caravan park in dreary NSW on the way to Boort was proof of that.
