Nearly all her body is tattooed
With the ink of adoration.
It stains her every part
Though it is a most pleasant taint.
Moving and dancing on her ivory skin.
From the blackened skull painted at the base of her neck
To the flowered vines that embrace her arms
And trace the outside edges of her stomach,
The ink of adoration
Is a welcomed contamination.
Yes, the ink of adoration
Darkens her natural hue
But she will never regret the tattoos
Emblazoned on her body
By her lovers sweet needle.

Again, I agree with Ken. Nice flow and a good write. Thanks for your entry in our contest, and good luck to you.

Very nice... good flow and the repetitive "ink of adoration" plays nicely as an anchor to the poem. I'm not sure "she will never regret" (LOL) but a wonderful entry...
