A pencil.
A notepad.
These are all a writer needs.
The figures come from his hand
But the words come from his heart.
Deep instilled within him
Is the desire to write
And the need to draw his audience in.
He wants you to understand
And treasure his simple words.
He wants you to feel special,
Like he's talking to you.
He hopes you are jealou of his work.
A pencil.
A notepad.
A reader.
These are all a writer needs.

So, my hobby is writing.

Take out your pen and unleash the beast lass!
This is where the meat meets the motion...lol
All of it...so true....
very unique..
...He wants you to feel special....
That is a line only a poet can write.
The rest of the world comes before him...[her].
Thank you so much for taking time from your life to read my work.
My Irish grand ma used to tell me...

it's a shame that in the end we have mothing of what we wrote in life, death absolves us of that responsibility, true a writer has his indispensible tools, but to be a writer, to be a poet even, an artist a philosopher, an author, it is a state of conciousness, an act of being. I enjoyed this because it made me think, what a writer needs is unbridled enthusiasm in him or herself, and what he wants is the oppurtunity to write that down
but the words are in us all regardless, how we express them in the difference, did you know that one of the most brilliant people in history, despised writing?/ that always makes me think

Tools of the trade, which I would not trade for any other talent, it is so refreshing to write, to spill your soul in the black that it holds to become ink and unfold into poetry. Great write on writing.~~~Artis
