Mom, you know I love you
I really do
And there's not a thing
I wouldn't do for you
But now it's my time to move on
And die
I have only one question for you,
Why??
I've been sad most of my life
That doesn't mean I want to go
And before I leave this place
There are a few things you should know
I may be mean and spiteful
But you fill my heart with joy
And the love that I hold for you
Could never be replaced by a boy's
Life is hard, I know that
But you've always helped me get by
You've been the best mother you could possibly be
Always helped me try
I have the tears inside me
That are just waiting here to fall
So many tears inside me
And you can have them all
Not a minute goes by now
That you're not in my thoughts
This will be the last time I speak to you
And I don't want our memories to be lost
The times you held me all night through
When I felt so sick, wanted to be dead
You kept my feet planted on the ground
Gave me a place to rest my head
And I remember the times I held you
How sometimes you really needed me
I don't want this life to be over
And I hope inside you agree
You say I'll go to a better place
So please don't grieve or cry
I know you enough to know you'll be sad
But you can make it through, get by
It's time to say goodbye forever
I can't hold on much longer
I was too weak to live this life
But you have to move on, be stronger
Goodbye mom, I loved you til death
And then a lot beyond
Goodbye mom, but not forever
I'll see you when it's your time to be gone

So I wrote this kind of fast and didn't really go back over it and revise. But I hope you like it, like I did.

P.S. -- I wasn't trying to make it sweet, but this is how I would really feel.
