Far above...

Far above the light blue sky,

is where you lie,

watching the world,

turning to cry.

Seeing nothing but war,

and blood,

seeing all the bad,

but where is all the good?

Sit outside and listen,

what do you hear?

Sirens,

Trouble always near.

Far above the light blue sky,

is where you lie,

seeing only the good,

Trouble, is never near.

Please, Tell me what you think.

  • This is a nice thought, it's nice and comforting to think we all go to a happy place after we die. love the last stanza, nice.

    Wow

This is true God does see it all and I'm sure it brings tears to his eyes. This is an excellent poem and to the point.

Far above the light blue sky,
    is where you lie,
    seeing only the good,
    Trouble, is never near.

Won't that be grand to be in Heaven soon someday for we then will not have to see what we see and feel today. Beautiful job.
    Many Blessings

    He sees it all........

The good the bad and the ugly!!! There is much badness out there and ugliness as well, but there is goodness his name is Jesus!!! His holy spirit dwells among us and there will always be more goodness than bad until he comes and takes the goodnes from the earth {his church} leaving only darkness and chaos. Ithink sometimes we only see the badness because it has becoming more shocking with each passing day! That is just how things seem to be...you did an awesome job writing this and you are very accomplished despite your young age!!!~~Thanks for sharing~~ Toni~~

Nice poem. It makes me think of my relatives who have moved on and how they don't have to endure the pains of this world anymore.
  • Whimsical.

This piece is serious but has a whimsical side to it. It states the reality of many situations but ends with a note of hope to it. Nicely done.

  • Intensely honest, this is a wake up call for those who seem to be able to close their eyes and ears and pretend it isn't there.

    Great write hun

    Stay safe
    Love to you
